Description

A quick and flavorful shrimp dish featuring garlic, butter, and a hint of spice, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon of red pepper flakes (adjust for spice preference)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the butter in a large skillet over medium heat until melted.
  2. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking until fragrant for about 1-2 minutes.
  3. Toss in the shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and sauté until they are pink and opaque, approximately 3-5 minutes.
  4. Remove the skillet from heat and garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

Ensure shrimp are properly thawed if using frozen. Overcooked shrimp can become rubbery; keep an eye on them while cooking.
