Ingredients
- 8 ounces fettuccine or linguine
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup lump crab meat, drained and flaked
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups chicken or seafood broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil over medium heat in a large pot. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds.
- Add the broth to the pot and bring to a gentle boil. Incorporate the fettuccine or linguine into the broth. Cook for 8-10 minutes until al dente.
- Reduce the heat, then stir in the heavy cream.
- Add the shrimp and crab meat, cooking for 3-5 minutes until the shrimp are pink and opaque.
- Mix in the grated Parmesan cheese, seasoning with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
