Description

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces fettuccine or linguine
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup lump crab meat, drained and flaked
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups chicken or seafood broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil over medium heat in a large pot. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds.
  2. Add the broth to the pot and bring to a gentle boil. Incorporate the fettuccine or linguine into the broth. Cook for 8-10 minutes until al dente.
  3. Reduce the heat, then stir in the heavy cream.
  4. Add the shrimp and crab meat, cooking for 3-5 minutes until the shrimp are pink and opaque.
  5. Mix in the grated Parmesan cheese, seasoning with salt and black pepper to taste.
