Description

A comforting and sophisticated dish combining shrimp, crab meat, and creamy Alfredo sauce over pasta, perfect for family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine or linguine
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup crab meat, shredded
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  4. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  5. Add the fettuccine or linguine to the pot and cook according to package instructions, stirring occasionally.
  6. In the last few minutes of cooking, add the shrimp and crab meat.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Once the pasta is cooked and the shrimp turn pink, remove from heat.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, add red pepper flakes or lemon zest. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to three days.
