Description

A quick and flavorful one-pot meal featuring shrimp, pasta, and a rich garlic butter sauce.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (spaghetti or fettuccine)
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (for serving)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes; sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add the shrimp and cook until pink and cooked through, about 2-3 minutes. Remove the shrimp and set aside.
  4. In the same pot, add the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  5. Add the pasta; cook according to package instructions.
  6. Once pasta is cooked, stir in the heavy cream and season with salt and pepper.
  7. Return the shrimp to the pot, toss everything to combine.
  8. Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley and grated Parmesan cheese.

Notes

Always rinse shrimp before cooking. Adjust red pepper flakes for desired spice level.
