Description
A quick and flavorful one-pot meal featuring shrimp, pasta, and a rich garlic butter sauce.
Ingredients
- 8 oz pasta (spaghetti or fettuccine)
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (for serving)
Instructions
- In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes; sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add the shrimp and cook until pink and cooked through, about 2-3 minutes. Remove the shrimp and set aside.
- In the same pot, add the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
- Add the pasta; cook according to package instructions.
- Once pasta is cooked, stir in the heavy cream and season with salt and pepper.
- Return the shrimp to the pot, toss everything to combine.
- Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley and grated Parmesan cheese.
Notes
Always rinse shrimp before cooking. Adjust red pepper flakes for desired spice level.
