Description
A refreshing shrimp salad seasoned with Old Bay, perfect for summer gatherings or a light lunch.
Ingredients
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 celery stalk, chopped
- 1 bell pepper, finely diced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil.
- Add shrimp and cook until they turn pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes.
- Drain shrimp and let cool.
- In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Add cooled shrimp, celery, and bell pepper to the bowl, stirring gently until well combined.
- Taste and adjust seasonings if necessary.
- Serve chilled, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
Chill the salad before serving for enhanced flavors. For extra crunch, add cucumbers or radishes.
