Description

A refreshing shrimp salad seasoned with Old Bay, perfect for summer gatherings or a light lunch.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 celery stalk, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, finely diced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish


Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Add shrimp and cook until they turn pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Drain shrimp and let cool.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  5. Add cooled shrimp, celery, and bell pepper to the bowl, stirring gently until well combined.
  6. Taste and adjust seasonings if necessary.
  7. Serve chilled, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

Chill the salad before serving for enhanced flavors. For extra crunch, add cucumbers or radishes.
