A delicious blend of sweet maple syrup and savory salmon, perfect for busy weeknights or special gatherings.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds salmon fillets
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
- Place salmon fillets skin-side down on the sheet.
- In a bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, olive oil, and minced garlic.
- Pour the glaze over the salmon and let it marinate for 10 minutes.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes or until the salmon flakes easily and the glaze caramelizes.
- Garnish with parsley and serve with the remaining glaze from the pan.
Notes
Let your salmon fillets come to room temperature before cooking for even cooking. Consider adding herbs like dill or cilantro for extra flavor.
