Ingredients
- – 1 lb (454 g) whole wheat or regular pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- – 1/2 cup (120 ml) pizza sauce
- – 1 cup (120 g) shredded mozzarella cheese
- – Red, green and yellow pepper, finely diced

Instructions
- Set your oven to 375°F and prepare a baking tray with parchment paper.
- On a surface dusted with flour, flatten the pizza dough to a thickness of ½ inch.
- Utilize a cookie cutter shaped like a Christmas tree to create tree shapes from the dough. Position each tree on the prepared baking tray.
- Re-flatten the remaining dough and repeat the process until all dough has been utilized.
- Spread pizza sauce over each dough tree, then sprinkle with cheese, diced peppers, and add slices of beef pepperoni, if desired.
- Place in the oven and cook for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the cheese is bubbly. Serve while hot.
Notes
- Experiment with different cheeses like cheddar or gouda for a unique flavor twist. Try adding toppings such as olives, mushrooms, or cooked sausage for extra variety. Make a larger batch of dough to freeze extra Christmas tree shapes for a quick meal option later on.
