Description

A refreshing dish made with fresh fish marinated in zesty lime juice and mixed with vibrant vegetables, perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh fish fillets (such as tilapia or snapper), diced
  • 1 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup tomatoes, diced
  • 1/2 cup cucumber, diced
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1-2 jalapeños, seeded and minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the diced fish and lime juice. Ensure that the fish is fully immersed in the juice.
  2. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for about 30 minutes or until the fish becomes opaque.
  3. After 30 minutes, add the finely chopped red onion, diced tomatoes, cucumber, chopped cilantro, and minced jalapeños to the fish mixture.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix all the ingredients well.
  5. Serve chilled as an appetizer or with tortilla chips.

Notes
