Description

A vibrant and refreshing dish made with marinated fresh fish and a mix of crunchy vegetables, perfect for any summer gathering.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh fish (snapper or tilapia), diced
  • 1 cup lime juice
  • 1/2 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup cucumber, diced
  • 1 cup tomatoes, diced
  • 1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1-2 jalapeños, minced (optional)
  • Salt to taste
  • Tortilla chips for serving

Instructions

  1. Combine the diced fish and lime juice in a bowl and let it sit for about 30 minutes to ‘cook’ the fish.
  2. Add the red onion, cucumber, tomatoes, cilantro, and jalapeños to the fish mixture.
  3. Season with salt to taste.
  4. Serve chilled with tortilla chips.

Notes

Use the freshest fish possible for the best flavor. Customize spice levels by adjusting the amount of jalapeño.
