Description

Ingredients

  • 4 cod fillets
  • 2 lemons, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place the cod fillets in a baking dish and drizzle them with olive oil.
  3. Season the fillets with salt, black pepper, and oregano.
  4. Arrange lemon slices on top of the cod.
  5. Sprinkle minced garlic evenly over the fillets.
  6. Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For extra moisture, consider adding lemon slices underneath the fillets and using a meat thermometer to ensure cod is cooked perfectly at 145°F (63°C).
