Description

Ingredients

  • 2 shallots, thinly sliced
  • 2 lemons, thinly sliced

  • 1 cup champagne vinegar

  • 6 bay leaves
  • 2 tablespoons celery seed
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons crushed red pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined, cooked (tails left on)


Instructions

  1. In a large jar, combine the sliced shallots, lemons, and minced garlic.
  2. Add the champagne vinegar and extra virgin olive oil.
  3. Include the chopped dill, bay leaves, celery seed, granulated sugar, crushed red pepper, and salt.
  4. Gently mix the ingredients to incorporate all flavors.
  5. Finally, add the cooked shrimp, making sure they are well-coated.
  6. Seal the jar and refrigerate for at least 8 hours before serving.

Notes
