Description

A simple and delicious baked salmon dish featuring a sweet and tangy maple Dijon glaze, perfect for quick weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Pepper (to taste)
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, Dijon mustard, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down.
  4. Brush the maple Dijon glaze generously over each fillet, reserving some for later.
  5. Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until it flakes easily with a fork. Brush with the reserved glaze halfway through baking.
  6. Remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

Tip: Let the salmon fillets sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes before baking for even cooking. Avoid overcooking to prevent dryness.
