Description

A mouthwatering lobster roll with tender lobster meat, seasoned with mayonnaise and fresh herbs, served in a buttery toasted bun.

Ingredients

  • 1 ¾ lb whole lobster (or 4 lobster tails or 1 lb lobster meat)
  • 1 tbsp fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp diced chives
  • ½ tbsp minced parsley
  • 2 tbsp diced celery
  • Salt and fresh cracked black pepper, to taste
  • 2 hot dog buns
  • 1 tbsp salted butter (melted)

Instructions

  1. Boil water in a large pot and add the lobster. Cook for 10-12 minutes until bright red and floating. Remove and let cool.
  2. Crack the shells and carefully remove the lobster meat, cutting it into bite-sized chunks in a mixing bowl.
  3. Combine lobster meat with lemon juice, mayonnaise, chives, parsley, and celery. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Brush buns with melted butter and toast until golden brown. Fill each bun with lobster mixture and serve immediately.

Notes

Use freshly caught lobster for the best flavor. Taste the mixture before serving and adjust seasoning if necessary.
