Instructions
- Combine the sardines, capers, lemon juice, lemon zest, and cream cheese in a bowl. Mash together until smooth.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Slice the baguette and toast the slices until golden.
- Spread the sardine pâté on the toasted crostini.
- Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
