Description

Elegant lemon butter scallops paired with crunchy garlic crostini, perfect for special occasions or cozy dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb U-10 scallops
  • lemons, juiced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 5 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp parsley, chopped
  • ½ tsp chili flakes
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Garlic rubbed crostini, to serve


Instructions

  1. Pat the scallops dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt ½ tablespoon of butter. Cook half the scallops for 1-2 minutes on each side until golden brown. Set aside, clean the pan, and repeat with the remaining scallops.
  3. Wipe the pan clean, melt the rest of the butter, and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add lemon juice and chili flakes, mixing well.
  5. Return scallops to the pan to coat in the sauce. Serve immediately with garlic-rubbed crostini.
