Description
Crispy fish bites coated in lemon butter, served with a creamy garlic aioli.
Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh white fish fillets (cod, tilapia, or haddock)
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- Lemon zest for garnish
- Fresh parsley
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice (to taste)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Pat the fish fillets dry using paper towels and slice them into bite-sized pieces.
- In a shallow dish, whisk together the flour, salt, black pepper, and paprika.
- Dredge each fish piece in the flour mixture until evenly coated.
- Heat the butter in a skillet over medium-high heat until it becomes hot and sizzles.
- Add the floured fish bites to the skillet, cooking for about 3 to 4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Transfer the cooked fish to a paper towel-lined plate to help absorb any excess grease.
- Drizzle the cooked fish with fresh lemon juice for that vibrant flavor.
- For the garlic aioli, mix the mayonnaise, minced garlic, and lemon juice in a separate bowl.
- Plate the fish bites, garnish with lemon zest and parsley, and serve with garlic aioli for dipping.
