Description

Crispy and delicious lemon butter fish bites served with a tangy garlic aioli, perfect for lunch or dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh white fish fillets (such as cod, tilapia, or haddock)
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 unit lemon zest, for garnish
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice (for aioli)
  • Salt and pepper to taste (for aioli)


Instructions

  1. Combine flour, salt, black pepper, and paprika in a shallow dish.
  2. Dredge fish fillets in the seasoned flour mixture.
  3. Melt unsalted butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add the coated fish fillets and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and flaky.
  5. Drizzle fresh lemon juice over fish while cooking.
  6. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, minced garlic, and additional lemon juice for garlic aioli. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve the fish bites garnished with lemon zest and fresh parsley, alongside garlic aioli for dipping.

Notes

Experiment with different spices in the coating for varied flavors. Serve with a light salad or roasted veggies.
