Description

Ingredients

  • 1 full-size sheet of nori
  • 1/2 cup seasoned sushi rice
  • 2 cucumber strips


Instructions

  1. Prepare cucumber strips to ensure they are uniform in size.
  2. If desired, trim nori into smaller sizes for easier handling.
  3. Cover the nori with a thin layer of sushi rice, leaving a strip at the top without rice.
  4. Arrange cucumber in a line about one inch from the bottom of the nori.
  5. Lightly wet the exposed nori at the top to help seal the roll.
  6. Roll tightly from the bottom to the top, avoiding too much pressure.
  7. Use a wet knife to cut the roll into six equal pieces.
  8. Plate the sushi and serve immediately.

Notes

For best results, use warm sushi rice and ensure your knife is wet when cutting the rolls.
