- 1 full-size sheet of nori
- 1/2 cup seasoned sushi rice
- 2 cucumber strips
Instructions
- Prepare cucumber strips to ensure they are uniform in size.
- If desired, trim nori into smaller sizes for easier handling.
- Cover the nori with a thin layer of sushi rice, leaving a strip at the top without rice.
- Arrange cucumber in a line about one inch from the bottom of the nori.
- Lightly wet the exposed nori at the top to help seal the roll.
- Roll tightly from the bottom to the top, avoiding too much pressure.
- Use a wet knife to cut the roll into six equal pieces.
- Plate the sushi and serve immediately.
Notes
For best results, use warm sushi rice and ensure your knife is wet when cutting the rolls.
