Description

A vibrant dish featuring creamy fettuccine paired with spicy jerk shrimp.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp jerk seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, toss the shrimp with jerk seasoning until well coated.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook until pink and cooked through, about 3–4 minutes. Remove the shrimp and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  6. Add the cooked fettuccine and shrimp to the sauce, mixing well to combine.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

Experiment with the heat level of the jerk seasoning to suit your taste. Pair with fresh lime juice for extra zest.
