Description

A vibrant and flavorful dish featuring pan-seared salmon fillets coated in bold jerk seasoning, served with fresh lemon juice.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons jerk seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 lemon (for juice and zest)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Pat the salmon fillets dry and season both sides with jerk seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the salmon fillets to the pan, skin-side down, and cook for about 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy.
  4. Flip the fillets and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until cooked through.
  5. Squeeze lemon juice over the salmon and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
  6. Serve immediately.

Notes

For an extra burst of flavor, add citrus zest to the jerk seasoning before applying it to the salmon.
