Ingredients
- 2 lbs (907 g) bone-in chicken pieces, patted dry
- 6 tablespoons (90 ml) Jamaican jerk seasoning paste
- Jerk BBQ Sauce, optional
Instructions
- Coat the chicken with the seasoning paste, ensuring it gets beneath the skin as well.
- Let the chicken marinate for at least 4 hours, or leave it overnight.
- Follow the cooking directions:
- Warm up the air fryer to 360°F. Put the chicken in the air fryer basket and cook for 25-30 minutes, turning the pieces halfway through.
- Preheat the oven to 425°F. Arrange the chicken on a baking tray and bake for 45-50 minutes, turning halfway.
- Set the grill to medium with indirect heat, then grill the chicken until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F. This may take up to an hour.
- Once finished, use a sharp knife to further cut the chicken.
