Description

A delicious and satisfying meal that blends rich salmon flavors with a sweet and spicy kick from hot honey.

Ingredients

  • 4 (6-ounce) salmon fillets
  • ¼ cup hot honey
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish
  • Lemon wedges, for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together hot honey, olive oil, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, and black pepper until well combined.
  3. Arrange the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down. Brush the hot honey mixture over the fillets, ensuring even coating.
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  5. For a caramelized finish, switch to broil for the last 2-3 minutes, watching closely to avoid burning.
  6. Remove from the oven, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve with lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

Use fresh garlic and high-quality honey for the best flavor. Don’t overbake to prevent drying out.
