Description
Learn how to make delicious hot honey salmon bites in the air fryer! This easy recipe will become your go-to favorite for a quick and tasty meal.
Ingredients
- 2 Salmon filets, chopped into cubes (392 g)
- 2 tsp Hot honey (10 g)
- 1/4 tsp (1 ml) Sea salt
- 1/4 tsp (1 ml) Garlic powder
- 1/8 tsp (1 ml) Paprika
- pinch of black pepper
- 1 tsp Olive oil (5 g)
Instructions
- If your salmon is frozen, defrost it by leaving it in the refrigerator overnight or submerging it in a bowl of water for approximately 30 minutes.
- While you prepare the salmon, set the air fryer to 400 degrees F to preheat.
- Dry the salmon thoroughly and cut it into small cubes.
- Pour hot honey over the salmon pieces and sprinkle them with the seasonings. My amounts are rough guesses since I generally sprinkle everything on top.
- Give the salmon a light coating with olive oil spray and place it in the preheated air fryer. Cook at 400 degrees F for 5 to 7 minutes.
- Savor these salmon bites in rice dishes, salads, or wrapped in tacos or wraps. We enjoy them on rice paired with cucumbers, carrots, avocado, and a touch of sriracha mayo!
Notes
- Thoroughly pat dry the salmon before cutting into cubes for a crispier texture when air frying.
- Adjust the seasoning to your liking, adding more or less hot honey, salt, garlic powder, paprika, and black pepper as desired.
- Consider marinating the salmon in hot honey and seasonings before air frying for a more flavorful result.
