Discover how to make mouthwatering Honey Mustard Air Fryer Salmon with this easy recipe. Perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside!
Ingredients
- 2 salmon filets (5-8 oz each) (140-225 g each)
- 30 ml honey
- 30 ml whole grain mustard
- 5 ml garlic powder
- 25 ml smoked paprika
- 5 ml lemon juice
- salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- Blend the honey, whole grain mustard, garlic powder, smoked paprika, lemon juice, salt, and pepper together to create the marinade. Coat the salmon fillets with two-thirds of this mixture by either letting them soak for 30 minutes or ensuring they are thoroughly covered. Keep the rest of the marinade aside to pour over the cooked salmon just before serving.
- Set the air fryer to 400°F. Use the reserved marinade to brush over the salmon and then arrange the fillets inside the air fryer.
- Cook the salmon in the air fryer for 7 to 8 minutes, adjusting the time based on the thickness of the fillets.
- Plate the salmon while still warm and finish by drizzling with the remaining marinade.
Notes
- Marinate the salmon for more than 30 minutes for a bolder flavor.
- Adjust cooking time based on salmon fillet thickness for perfect doneness.
- Sprinkle fresh herbs like dill or parsley on cooked salmon for added freshness.
