Description

A quick and healthy dish featuring salmon coated in a sweet and tangy honey-lime glaze, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 170 grams each)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (about 57 grams)
  • 1/3 cup honey (about 113 grams)
  • 3 tablespoons lime juice (about 45 ml)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Lime slices for garnish
  • Fresh cilantro or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare a baking dish by lining it with aluminum foil.
  3. Whisk together melted butter, honey, lime juice, and minced garlic in a small bowl.
  4. Place salmon fillets in the baking dish, ensuring they are evenly spaced.
  5. Generously season each fillet with salt and pepper.
  6. Spoon the honey-lime garlic mixture over each salmon fillet, ensuring even coverage.
  7. Transfer the baking dish to your preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes. The salmon is done when it flakes easily with a fork, and the glaze has a glossy finish.
  8. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh cilantro or parsley before serving.

Notes

Allow the salmon to marinate in the glaze for up to an hour before baking for deeper flavor. Feel free to customize the glaze with red pepper flakes or swap lime juice for lemon.
