Description

A delightful dish combining sweet honey and savory garlic with tender salmon filets, perfect for weeknight dinners or special gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon filets (6 oz each)
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika (or regular paprika)
  • 1/4 tsp blackening seasoning (optional)
  • 3 Tbsp butter
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 3 Tbsp water
  • 3 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp sriracha sauce
  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Pat the salmon dry, then season with salt, pepper, paprika, and blackening seasoning, if using. Set aside.
  2. Add butter and olive oil to a large, oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Once melted, add garlic, water, soy sauce, sriracha, honey, and lemon juice. Cook for about 30 seconds.
  3. Add the salmon to the skillet, ensuring each piece is coated in the sauce. Broil for around 6-10 minutes according to your desired doneness.

Notes

For best results, use fresh, high-quality salmon and consider marinating in the honey-garlic mixture for enhanced flavor.
