A quick and flavorful honey garlic glazed salmon dish that is perfect for busy weeknights, featuring a sweet and savory marinade.
Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them.
- Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Remove the salmon from the marinade and place it skin-side down in the skillet.
- Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Drizzle with remaining marinade during the last minute of cooking.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and serve.
Notes
For best results, allow the salmon to rest for a couple of minutes after cooking to enhance flavor. Can be paired with sautéed vegetables or a light salad.
