Description

A quick and flavorful honey garlic glazed salmon dish that is perfect for busy weeknights, featuring a sweet and savory marinade.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  2. Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them.
  3. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Remove the salmon from the marinade and place it skin-side down in the skillet.
  6. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Drizzle with remaining marinade during the last minute of cooking.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve.

Notes

For best results, allow the salmon to rest for a couple of minutes after cooking to enhance flavor. Can be paired with sautéed vegetables or a light salad.
