Description

A simple yet flavorful dish featuring salmon baked in a sweet and savory honey garlic butter glaze.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 3 tbsp butter (melted)
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (plus extra for serving)
  • Salt and black pepper (to taste)
  • Lemon slices (for garnish)
  • Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking dish with foil.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the melted butter, honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and lemon juice.
  3. Place the salmon fillets in the prepared dish, season with salt and black pepper, and pour the glaze generously over the top.
  4. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  5. For added caramelization, broil for an additional 2 minutes, if desired.
  6. Garnish with parsley and lemon slices before serving.

Notes

For best results, use a meat thermometer to ensure salmon is perfectly cooked at 145°F (63°C). Adjust cooking time based on the thickness of the fillets.
