Description
A refreshing and satisfying crab pasta salad with a creamy ranch dressing, perfect for gatherings and family meals.
Ingredients
- 5 cups spiral pasta (Barilla Rotini recommended)
- 18 oz imitation crab (chopped into 1/2-inch pieces)
- 1/2 cup celery (finely diced)
- 1/2 cup green pepper (finely diced)
- 1/3 cup onion (diced)
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley (chopped)
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise (Hellmann’s recommended)
- 1/2 cup ranch dressing
- 1 1/2 tsp dried dill
Instructions
- Boil water in a large pot, and cook spiral pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and allow to cool.
- Chop imitation crab into 1/2-inch pieces and prepare vegetables by finely dicing celery and green pepper, dicing onion and parsley.
- Combine cooled pasta, crab, celery, green pepper, onion, and parsley in a large mixing bowl.
- Mix mayonnaise, ranch dressing, and dried dill in a separate bowl.
- Pour the dressing over the pasta salad and gently toss until well coated.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least one hour before serving.
Notes
Serve in a vibrant bowl and garnish with fresh parsley or dill. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to three days.
