Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, cleaned and deveined
  • Corn or flour tortillas
  • 2 cups coleslaw mix (green and purple cabbage, carrots)
  • 1 ripe avocado, diced
  • Shrimp taco sauce (made from mayonnaise, lime juice, and spices)
  • Fresh cilantro, for garnish
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges
  • Salt and pepper, to taste


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, toss shrimp with lime juice, salt, and pepper.
  2. Cook shrimp in a skillet over medium heat until pink and opaque.
  3. Warm tortillas in a separate skillet or microwave.
  4. In another bowl, mix coleslaw with a bit of lime juice, salt, and cilantro.
  5. Assemble tacos by placing shrimp in a tortilla, adding slaw, avocado, and shrimp taco sauce.
  6. Serve with lime wedges on the side.

Notes

Allow shrimp to marinate for up to 30 minutes for enhanced flavor. Serve with fresh sides like cilantro lime rice.
