Description

A quick and delicious dish that marries the savory flavors of Spam with sticky sushi rice, bringing a taste of tropical paradise to your table.


Ingredients

  • 1 can Spam
  • 2 cups sushi rice
  • 5 sheets nori (roasted seaweed)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons mirin
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 cup water


Instructions

  1. Cook the sushi rice according to package instructions.
  2. Slice the Spam and caramelize it in a pan with soy sauce, sugar, mirin, and sesame oil.
  3. Wet a sushi mat and layer sticky sushi rice, followed by slices of Spam.
  4. Roll it tightly with nori.
