Description

Delicious bite-sized ham and cheese puff pastries, perfect for gatherings or a quick lunch.


Ingredients

  • Pâte feuilletée (puff pastry)
  • Jambon tranché (sliced ham)
  • Fromage (cheddar or Swiss cheese)
  • Œuf (egg for egg wash)
  • Poivre (pepper) to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Roll out the pâte feuilletée on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Cut the rolled-out pastry into rectangles measuring roughly 4×6 inches.
  4. Place a slice of jambon tranché and a slice of fromage on each rectangle.
  5. Fold the pastry over the filling and seal the edges thoroughly.
  6. Brush the surface of each pastry with the œuf.
  7. Arrange the pastries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Serve hot.
