Ingredients
- 2 fresh tuna steaks
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, soy sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until well blended.
- Using a brush, apply the marinade generously to both sides of the tuna steaks.
- Carefully place the tuna steaks on the grill. Cook for about 3–4 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
- Once cooked, remove from the grill and serve immediately with lemon wedges.
Notes
For a boost in flavor, consider marinating the steaks for up to an hour before grilling. Always check for doneness with a meat thermometer and aim for a slightly rare center.
