Ingredients
- 2 tuna steaks
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons fresh ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, ginger, olive oil, honey, and lemon juice to create a marinade.
- Place tuna steaks in the marinade, cover, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high.
- Remove tuna from the marinade and season with salt and pepper.
- Grill tuna steaks for about 3-4 minutes on each side, depending on thickness, until desired doneness.
- Serve immediately with lemon wedges.
Notes
For extra flavor, sprinkle sesame seeds during the last minute of grilling. Aim for an internal temperature of 130°F for medium-rare.
