A quick and flavorful grilled shrimp recipe, perfect for summer cookouts or weeknight dinners.
Ingredients
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- Skewers (if grilling)
Instructions
- Combine olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice in a bowl.
- Add the shrimp to the marinade and toss to coat. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the shrimp onto skewers if using.
- Grill the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they are opaque and cooked through.
- Remove from the grill and serve immediately.
Notes
Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before using to prevent burning. Serve with fresh herbs and lemon wedges for extra flavor.
