Description

A simple yet flavorful grilled red snapper recipe infused with a zesty marinade, perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 whole red snapper (cleaned and scaled)
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Lemon slices (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Mix the olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, parsley, salt, and black pepper together in a bowl.
  2. Place the cleaned red snapper in a large dish or resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the fish.
  3. Allow the fish to marinate in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (around 375°F or 190°C).
  5. Use a paper towel dipped in oil to grease the grill grates.
  6. Place the marinated red snapper directly on the grill.
  7. Grill for about 5-7 minutes on one side until grill marks appear. Flip the fish gently.
  8. Grill for another 5-7 minutes on the other side until cooked through.
  9. Remove the fish from the grill and serve on a platter garnished with lemon slices.

Notes

For best results, use a grill basket or aluminum foil to prevent sticking. Experiment with herbs and spices in the marinade for personalized flavor.
