Ingredients
- 1 octopus (about 2 pounds)
- 2 lemons (juiced)
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil.
- Add the octopus and cook for about 30 minutes until tender. Remove and let cool.
- In a bowl, mix lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Once cool enough to handle, remove the skin and beak from the octopus.
- Cut the octopus into tentacles and marinate in the lemon mixture for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Grill the octopus for about 3-4 minutes on each side until charred.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
