Description
A delicious and tender grilled octopus recipe marinated with garlic, lemon, and smoked paprika.
Ingredients
- 1 octopus (about 2 pounds)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Clean the octopus and remove the beak and eyes.
- In a bowl, mix the garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Marinate the octopus in the mixture for at least two hours.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Grill the octopus for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until charred and cooked through.
- Remove from the grill and let it rest before slicing.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.
Notes
To enhance flavor, experiment with different herbs in the marinade. Always check for doneness to avoid overcooking.
