Description

Delightful grilled fish tacos featuring flaky fish, vibrant cabbage slaw, and fresh lime, perfect for warm evenings.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh fish fillets (tilapia or cod)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • Sour cream or Greek yogurt (optional)
  • Salsa (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Mix the olive oil, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Coat the fish in the mixture.
  3. Grill the fish for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
  4. Toss the shredded cabbage with lime juice and chopped cilantro in a separate bowl while the fish is grilling.
  5. Warm the corn tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds on each side.
  6. Assemble the tacos by placing pieces of grilled fish on each tortilla, topping with cabbage slaw, and adding sour cream or salsa if desired.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For the best results, use a fish basket or foil to prevent the fish from sticking to the grill. Marinate the fish for added flavor.
