Description

A refreshing and elegant lobster salad combining tender lobster meat with zesty lemon, creamy mayonnaise, and crunchy celery.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs cooked lobster meat, cut into ¾-inch chunks
  • ⅓ cup mayonnaise
  • 1½ tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • ¼ cup finely chopped celery (inner stalks only)
  • 1 tbsp thinly sliced chives, plus more for garnish
  • Salt and freshly cracked black pepper, to taste


Instructions

  1. In a chilled mixing bowl, combine the lobster meat, mayonnaise, lemon juice, chopped celery, and sliced chives.
  2. Gently fold the ingredients together until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
  3. Season lightly with salt and pepper, and adjust to taste.
  4. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for 30 to 60 minutes.
  5. Serve in lettuce cups, toasted buns, or over sliced avocado.

Notes

Chilling the salad enhances the flavors. Use fresh ingredients for the best taste.
