Description

Easy and delightful baked oysters with a crispy breadcrumb and Parmesan topping.


Ingredients

  • 12 fresh oysters
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Shuck the oysters and place them on a baking sheet.
  3. In a bowl, combine breadcrumbs, melted butter, garlic, Parmesan cheese, parsley, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spoon the mixture onto each oyster.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown and bubbling.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For added crunch, use panko breadcrumbs. Experiment with herbs like thyme or basil for extra flavor.
