Description

A quick and nutritious glazed salmon recipe with a glossy, sweet and salty soy sauce glaze that elevates the flavor of fresh salmon.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb salmon
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp lime zest
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • Pinch of salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp butter or ghee


Instructions

  1. Combine soy sauce, brown sugar, lime juice, lime zest, minced garlic, and a pinch of salt in a saucepan.
  2. Heat the mixture on low for about 5 minutes until sticky.
  3. Add butter and swirl to combine for 20 seconds.
  4. Pour the glaze over the salmon fillet evenly.
  5. Preheat air fryer to 400°F.
  6. Place glazed salmon in the air fryer and cook for 12-14 minutes until crispy.
  7. Serve over coconut rice, garnished with scallions and sesame seeds.

Notes

Marinate the salmon for 30 minutes in the glaze for enhanced flavor. Use a cooking thermometer for perfect doneness.
