Description
A quick and nutritious glazed salmon recipe with a glossy, sweet and salty soy sauce glaze that elevates the flavor of fresh salmon.
Ingredients
- 1 lb salmon
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp lime zest
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- Pinch of salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp butter or ghee
Instructions
- Combine soy sauce, brown sugar, lime juice, lime zest, minced garlic, and a pinch of salt in a saucepan.
- Heat the mixture on low for about 5 minutes until sticky.
- Add butter and swirl to combine for 20 seconds.
- Pour the glaze over the salmon fillet evenly.
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F.
- Place glazed salmon in the air fryer and cook for 12-14 minutes until crispy.
- Serve over coconut rice, garnished with scallions and sesame seeds.
Notes
Marinate the salmon for 30 minutes in the glaze for enhanced flavor. Use a cooking thermometer for perfect doneness.
