Description

Delicious ginger soy glazed cod is a family favorite that combines quick preparation with rich flavors, perfect for a nutritious dinner in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces cod fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced (for garnish)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • 1 handful fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together the soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, grated ginger, minced garlic, and sesame oil in a small bowl until well combined.
  3. Place the cod fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the soy ginger glaze evenly over each fillet, ensuring they are well coated.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the cod is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  5. Remove from the oven and transfer the cod fillets to serving plates.
  6. Garnish with thinly sliced green onions, sesame seeds, and fresh cilantro.
  7. Serve immediately with lime wedges on the side for an extra burst of flavor. Enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, consider marinating the cod in the glaze for 30 minutes before baking.
