A delicious and easy garlic Parmesan crusted halibut that combines rich flavors with a crispy topping, perfect for weeknight dinners.
Ingredients
- 4 halibut fillets
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, chopped parsley, melted butter, salt, and pepper.
- Place halibut fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Generously press the breadcrumb mixture onto the top of each fillet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and the crust is golden brown.
- Serve with lemon wedges.
Notes
For added flavor, consider adding a pinch of cayenne pepper to the breadcrumb mixture. Ensure all fillets are of similar thickness for even cooking.
