Description

Delightful foil packets filled with garlic herb steak and shrimp, offering rich flavors and minimal cleanup, perfect for a busy weeknight meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye)
  • 1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tbsp fresh herbs (such as parsley and thyme)
  • 4 tbsp butter (melted)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Aluminum foil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill or oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the steak into bite-sized pieces and place it in a bowl.
  3. Add the shrimp, minced garlic, fresh herbs, melted butter, salt, and pepper. Toss to combine.
  4. Cut large sheets of aluminum foil and place an even amount of the steak and shrimp mixture in the center of each sheet.
  5. Fold the foil over to create a sealed packet.
  6. Place the packets on the grill or in the oven and cook for 15-20 minutes, or until the steak is cooked to desired doneness and the shrimp are pink and opaque.
  7. Carefully open the foil packets and serve warm.

Notes

For added depth, consider marinating the shrimp and steak in the garlic and herbs for 30 minutes before preparing the packets. Adjust cooking time based on steak thickness.
