Description

A quick and satisfying dish that packs a flavorful punch, featuring salmon fillets coated in a savory garlic butter mixture with a hint of lemon.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (6-8 ounces each)
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice, plus lemon slices for garnish
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground, or to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, parsley, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well blended.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking tray. Evenly spread the garlic butter mixture over each fillet.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches your desired doneness.
  5. Remove from the oven and garnish with lemon slices before serving.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for optimal flavor. Leftover garlic butter mixture can be used as a spread for bread or veggies. Experiment with different herbs for unique flavors.
