Description

Learn how to make crispy and flavorful Garlic Butter Air Fryer Potato Bites with this easy recipe! Perfect for a delicious snack or side dish.

Ingredients

  • Baby potatoes – washed and cut – 907 g (2 lbs)
  • Beef minced – 10 ml (2 tsp)
  • Vegetable oil – 30 ml (2 tbsp)
  • Salt – 10 ml (2 tsp)
  • Pepper – 1.25 ml (1/4 tsp)
  • Plant-based butter – 60 g (1/4 cup)
  • Seasoning – rosemary, thyme, vegan Parmesan cheese grated (optional)

Instructions

  1. Start by cleaning and slicing the potatoes into small, uniform pieces to ensure they cook evenly.
  2. Combine the vegetable oil with salt and pepper, then thoroughly coat the potato pieces in the mixture.
  3. Arrange the coated potatoes in a single layer within the air fryer basket.
  4. Set the air fryer to 180°C (350°F) and cook for 20 to 22 minutes, checking halfway through to determine if additional time is needed.
  5. Make sure the potatoes are completely cooked and have a crispy surface.
  6. Take the potatoes out of the air fryer and mix in some plant-based butter and minced beef. Season with rosemary, thyme, or vegan Parmesan cheese if desired.
  7. Enjoy the potato bites while warm, perhaps with a dip of your choice. I paired them with a wasabi mayonnaise blend (1/4 teaspoon wasabi paste mixed with 1 cup mayonnaise).

Notes

  • Mix minced beef with plant-based butter for added flavor before combining with cooked potatoes.
  • Experiment with seasonings like rosemary, thyme, or vegan Parmesan cheese to customize the taste.
  • Cut potato pieces into small, uniform sizes for even cooking before coating in oil, salt, and pepper.
