Description

Delicious fish tacos made with seasoned white fish, crunchy slaw, and creamy sauce, perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb white fish (cod or tilapia)
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 1 cup cabbage, shredded
  • 1 cup carrots, shredded
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Sear the fish in a skillet or on a grill over medium heat. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  2. In a bowl, mix shredded cabbage, carrots, cilantro, lime juice, salt, and pepper to create the slaw.
  3. Combine sour cream, mayonnaise, and lime juice in another bowl to make the creamy sauce.
  4. Warm the corn tortillas on the grill or skillet until soft.
  5. Assemble the tacos by placing fish on each tortilla. Top with slaw, creamy sauce, and avocado slices.
  6. Serve with extra lime wedges for garnish.

Notes

Use fresh fish for the best flavor and warm tortillas just before serving.
