Delicious fish tacos made with seasoned white fish, crunchy slaw, and creamy sauce, perfect for gatherings.
Ingredients
- 1 lb white fish (cod or tilapia)
- 8 small corn tortillas
- 1 cup cabbage, shredded
- 1 cup carrots, shredded
- 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Sear the fish in a skillet or on a grill over medium heat. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- In a bowl, mix shredded cabbage, carrots, cilantro, lime juice, salt, and pepper to create the slaw.
- Combine sour cream, mayonnaise, and lime juice in another bowl to make the creamy sauce.
- Warm the corn tortillas on the grill or skillet until soft.
- Assemble the tacos by placing fish on each tortilla. Top with slaw, creamy sauce, and avocado slices.
- Serve with extra lime wedges for garnish.
