Description

Delight in the fresh flavors of fish tacos with a creamy sauce and vibrant toppings for a perfect weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb white fish (like cod or tilapia)
  • 1 cup cabbage, shredded
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Mix together sour cream, mayonnaise, lime juice, garlic powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl to create the fish taco sauce.
  2. Season the fish with salt and pepper. Cook the fish in a skillet over medium heat until cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  3. Warm the corn tortillas in a separate pan or microwave.
  4. Assemble the tacos by placing some fish on each tortilla, topping with shredded cabbage, avocado slices, and drizzling with the sauce.
  5. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve.

Notes

Serve immediately for the best flavor and texture. Feel free to customize with additional toppings.
