Description

A vibrant and crunchy slaw that enhances fish tacos and burrito bowls with fresh ingredients and zesty lime.

Ingredients

  • 1 small green cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 2 medium carrots, grated

  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • Salt, to taste
  • Optional: hot sauce, for extra kick

Instructions

  1. Thinly slice the cabbage and red onion. Grate or thinly slice the carrots.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the sliced cabbage, carrots, red onion, and chopped cilantro.
  3. Squeeze the lime juice over the slaw and toss to combine.
  4. Taste and add salt or hot sauce if desired.
  5. Serve immediately as a topping for fish tacos, in burrito bowls, or as a side dish.

Notes

Allow the slaw to rest for 10-15 minutes after mixing to enhance the flavors.
